Setting a stop for yourself is just as important as the stop loss on the chart.
Example rules
- A −3R loss in a day → stop until tomorrow.
- A −6R loss in a week → stop, review your journal, come back next week.
The goal is to prevent one bad day from turning into a disaster. Capital that is preserved can be used again; capital that is gone cannot.
